FAQ

Questions

Anything else? Write to hello@lombardia-automobili.com.

Do framed prints arrive ready to hang?

Yes - assembled in a solid wood frame with the hanger fitted. Out of the box and on the wall in a minute.

Can I see it on my wall before I buy?

Yes, free. Send a photo of your wall (straight on, plus its width if you know it) and we'll send back the print on your wall in the size and frame you're considering - within 1 business day.

Which size should I choose?

Above a sofa, bed or desk: one of the two largest. A shelf, a hallway or a pair: one of the two smallest. Every listing has a size guide with all four sizes to scale next to a 175 cm person.

What makes it better than a regular poster?

Three things you'll notice. The paper: 200 gsm matte fine art paper, not thin glossy poster stock - no glare. The inks: archival pigments, made not to fade for 200+ years. The frame: solid wood, assembled, hanger fitted - ready the day it arrives. A poster you replace; a print you keep.

Can I mix cars, sizes and frames in the deal?

Yes. Any 2 prints save 25%, any 3 or more save 30% - any cars, sizes and frames, applied at checkout on Etsy.

Can you make my car in its own colour?

Yes. Send us the car (model and year) and its colour or paint code - photos help. You get a price and a proof to approve before anything is printed.

Where is it made - will I pay import fees?

Made to order in a fine art print lab near you - in the US, the Netherlands, the UK or Australia. No import fees to the US, EU, UK or Australia. Dispatched in 3-6 business days, tracked to your door.

What if it arrives damaged?

Send us a photo and we reprint it free.

About the studio

The other way round.

Every car was a drawing before it was a car. Someone put a line on a board and decided where the roof should fall, how much wheel to show, where the tension sits.

We start with the finished car and draw it back to that first decision, until the proportion is honest and the stance is right and you would know it from across the room without a badge. Each drawing becomes a poster, printed to order by a fine art print lab near you.
